Brother Isaac E. Kusuma was born in a humble village in the East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh, India. His early years were marked by hardship and adversity. After losing his mother in childhood, he faced many struggles, including difficulties in obtaining daily necessities. Yet through these challenges, Elohim was preparing him for a lifetime of ministry and service.
After earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree, Brother Isaac felt a strong calling to dedicate his life to the study and proclamation of the Scriptures. He traveled to Dehradun to pursue theological training and successfully completed his Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.). Soon afterward, he began his ministry in the remote tribal region of Sileru, where he devoted himself to preaching the Gospel and teaching the Word of Elohim.
As his understanding of Scripture deepened, he became convinced of the importance of biblical truths concerning the Sabbath, the Sacred Name, and the Messianic faith. Motivated by a passion to share these teachings, he contributed articles to Satya Suvartha ("The True Gospel") and later launched his own publication, Kavali Vaani Booradhvani. Although this publication eventually ceased because of opposition to his teachings regarding Sunday worship, his commitment to truth remained unwavering.
Determined to continue the work, he founded another Telugu publication, Satyamunakai Poratam ("Fight for Truth"), and an English magazine, Contention for Truth. Through these publications, he reached thousands of readers with biblical teachings, doctrinal studies, and messages of faith.
For decades, Brother Isaac tirelessly traveled throughout Andhra Pradesh, first by bicycle and later by motorcycle, distributing gospel literature and sharing the message of Yahweh. From 2000 to 2022, he covered thousands of kilometers across the state, visiting cities, towns, and remote villages, including Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Palakollu, Amalapuram, and many unreached areas. Through personal evangelism, preaching campaigns, and Bible teaching, many individuals came to faith and were baptized.
In 2002, he established Assemblies Of The Living Elohim, a ministry dedicated to proclaiming biblical truth, nurturing believers, and equipping future generations to serve Elohim faithfully.
Throughout his ministry, Brother Isaac has been recognized as a passionate defender of Scripture. He has engaged in numerous discussions and debates with religious leaders, pastors, scholars, and critics concerning biblical doctrines, translations, and interpretations. His desire has always been to encourage believers to examine every teaching carefully in the light of Scripture.
In addition to preaching and teaching, he is a gifted songwriter who has composed many faith-building songs that inspire believers and glorify Elohim. He is also the author of several books addressing important biblical themes and doctrinal subjects. His ministry extends beyond the pulpit; as a marriage registrar, he has officiated and registered numerous marriages, serving families and communities with dedication and integrity.
A lifelong student of Scripture, Brother Isaac has never ceased learning. His commitment to biblical research and theological study ultimately led him to complete doctoral studies (Th.D.), further strengthening his ability to teach, write, and defend the faith. Today, he continues his mission by traveling to different states across India, reaching new communities and strengthening believers in their faith.
